Girl Monster står för en serie hyllade scenframträdanden där de kombinerar videokonst, föreläsning, performance och musik med dem själva och artister inom olika konstområden. Denna gången har de bjudit in radikalfeministen och fotografen A.L Steiner (NY), koreografen Kroot Juurak (Wien), Dj:n Nadine Jessen (Berlin) och performanceartisten Ann Liv Young (NY). The legendary Berlin-based art, design and music collective Chicks on Speed have done most everything in music: recorded albums with covers designed by the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, collaborated with legends like Tina Weymoth from Talking Heads, Peaches and Miss Kittin and released albums from Riot Grrl-forerunner Le Tigre and more on their own label. Here they present there new
Girl Monster – The Naked Performers. Girl monster is a platform for female artists from different fields of art, created and curated by Chicks On Speed. Each girl monster night has one special topic, this time it's "the naked performers" and combines video-art, lecture, performance and concert with themselves and the radicalfeminist and photographer A.L Steiner (NY), choreographer Kroot Juurak (Wien), the dj Nadine Jessen (Berlin) and the performance artist Ann Liv Young (NY).
Artisttalk in Nya rummet with Chicks On Speed and the other participants on the 24th of March after Ann LIv Young's performance Cinderella.
