Bombina Bombast & Makropol “The Shared Individual”

A collective VR-experience where the audience becomes one.

A virtual reality-performance and collective teletransportation apparatus that allows the whole audience to become one.

Virtual reality is the ultimate freedom. You are no longer in need of a physical presence, your body can be what your mind desires, and you can travel to any location in the world, all with the click of a button. By being released of the burden of our own individuality, we finally have the chance to evolve as a human kind, and enter the promised land, the imagined reality, as The Shared Individual.

Using VR-glasses, headphones and livestream video the audience gets to experience the border between body and technology. When you feel that you are lifting your own hand, but see a hand that is not your own being lifted in front of your eyes – which hand is yours? Let technology mess with your senses and raise questions about the body, individuality, collective and the potential of virtual reality.

This autumn Bombina Bombast and Inkonst will also arrange movie nights with VR films. You will have the chance to experience VR created by filmmakers and artists from different parts of the world. Go to our website for more information.
