Donna Donna “Antiporr”

Grotesque tale about bodies, identity and heterosexuality.

Donna Donna presents a grotesque world where nobody wants to be alone and everyone is invited. Welcome to a four meter long saggy butt, a desire to love like conservative christians love, a porn use and a longing to be looked at.

Olivia is pregnant and sees herself furthering the perfect nuclear family, until her father get’s outed in the metoo-movent. Amir watches a lot of porn, but would prefer to meet someone who’s a little more amazing, beautiful, cute, nice, kind and sweet than the people in the porn he consumes. And My wonders if she can make porn? Or if it’s better to get into pottery?

In a world where porn acts as an ever-present backdrop to our lives, Donna Donna lets bodily desires and lusts desires grow, flow and take shape on stage. Using costume, makeup and set design to construct surreal bodies they let these surreal bodies become their own norm in this contemporary fairy tale of love, lust and loneliness.

Donna Donna are based in Malmö and have made theatre together since 2015. They enjoy moving rapidly between different genres and expressions. Earlier works include Royals – a dark comedy about Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine, and Dom ska hitta oss tillsammans about Ulla Billquist, her suicide and the woman assumed to be her lover.
