EMOM Scania #3 – Electronic Music Open Mic | FREE ENTRY
**EMOM (Electronic Music Open Mic)** is a grassroots movement that started in England in 2017 by Martin Christie. The concept is simple: provide a platform/stage for local electronic musicians to perform live. The event is open to everyone, regardless of the style of electronic music performed—be it ambient, techno, experimental, house, synth. The focus is on newcomers to the scene.

REMY GOUFFAULT
Drummer and percussionist Rémy Gouffault began with piano and drums, later studying classical percussion and jazz at the Toulouse Conservatory. After six years with the electronic music project NINXY, he has shifted toward experimental and improvised music, drawing inspiration from artists like Seb Brun and Grischa Lichtenberger. Composition is central to his work, especially through electronic instruments and effects in projects like CATAPLASME, SWIMMING POOL, and the acoustic ensemble CELLS. For this concert, he blends EDM styles like footwork and fast house with textural and glitch sounds.

AUSTRIAN ELECTRONICS
Austrian Electronics is music that dresses short romantic stories in an electronic shroud. We like the sound and feel of theme songs from 80s and 90s soap operas and our music is in general very much inspired by movie soundtracks. We mostly use syntherzisers but we also feature some guitar and saxophone.

MASSIV OVILJA
The primary mission of MASSIV OVILJA is to critique society’s moral decay, democracy’s breakdown, and their own physical and mental erosion through sound. MASSIV OVILJA employs any object capable of producing sound—springs, guitars, synthesizers, knives, broken toys, and more. Their music spans from industrial death-noise disco to ambient soundscapes.
At EMOM Scania, they will perform a minimalist, lethargic techno piece using only a Moog Matriarch, with no overdubs, effects, or embellishments.

HERZKEN
I’m drawn to noise, distortion, and the dark side of beauty. Industrial, drone, and dystopian tones guide me, with inspiration from the Berlin school and Krautrock. My work often explores mental health and people I’ve met along the way. Having been in psychiatric care since age 12, I channel these experiences into my art. Herzken centers on music, but I’ve recently branched into filmmaking and interactive media, always with my music at the core.

MONOPUNK
Monopunk SWE serves up a mix of psychedelic kraut synth-punk. Over the years, our gear setup has expanded and adapts to each performance. Live, we range from a one-man act to an energetic trio with a drummer, or our classic duo: Johnny Pousette on vocals, guitar, and synths, and Man Rave on synths and guitar. We’ll kick off with mellow ambient tones and see just how much fury we can pack into 20 minutes!

DISSOLVING
Atmospheric and mysterious, with a love for contrast and cinematic depth. Starting in 2012 with Psytrance/Psytechno in a Brussels basement, this electronic journey has evolved into a downtempo project rich in experimentation. Using instruments like didgeridoo, guitar, and synths, he blends acoustic and electronic textures to create organic, groovy soundscapes. Years of experience in bands from metal to reggae, combined with a passion for electronics, shape his unique style, where deep, layered, psychedelic sounds meet warm, soothing grooves.

KRANIA
Krania, aka Katharina, is forever locked in a love-hate relationship with her native hometown Malmö. Her musical journey has led her from the group efforts of performing “Lambada” on the recorder, via west African drums, to the oscillations of modern machinery. Replacing her drum kit with a drum machine set her on a path through sound and space. Expect industrial rhythms and German lyrics cradled by dreamy ambient textures.
