An evening dedicated to erotic art

Fennek Film presents an evening dedicated to erotic art in all its shapes and forms.Erotica has a quite ambivalent place in art and culture: partly revered as exiting, exhilarating and alluring; partly hidden away, taboo and looked upon with disgust or scepticism.

Evening of Erotica is a platform where we strive to give space to as many forms of erotic art as possible, and to as many kinds of artists as possible. The evening offers painting, drawing, photography, film screening, sculptures, video installations, performance art, reading aloud, music performances, dance, kinbaku shibari show, and much more.

The easily accessible supply of commercial erotica aimed at a broad audience is far too narrow and uniform. This is something we think has to be changed. With Evening of Erotica, we want to broaden the idea about and the view of what erotica is and can be – seductive, lustful, fun, sickening, provocative, political, corporeal, intellectual, mind-broadening.

9:30 p.m. – Screening of short films
10:00 p.m. – Reading aloud by erotica writer Ariel Held, preview of newly written material
10:30 p.m. – Baby Alice’s Pussytalks: the hungry pussy part 1 and 2 – performance created and performed by Joanna Elisabeth
11:00 p.m. – Music with Hampus Leijon and Alexis Lundblom
