Cancelled | Felicia Atkinson + Soho Rezanejad
A night of a unique cross-platform experience
We are afraid Lyra Pramuk and Felicia Atkinson has cancelled their gigs due to the current restrictions. But! We have managed to get Civilistjävel! and Soho Rezanejad to play a night of their own, more info here.
A night featuring two acclaimed polymaths working within music, art, and language for a unique cross-platform experience.
Felicia Atkinson is a French visual artist, experimental musician, poet and co-publisher of Shelter Pres who has been lauded by the likes of The Wire Magazine, Pitchfork, and Spin. Known for her unique takes on improvisation, deep listening, cut ups, duration, silence and noise, musique concrete, poetic spaces, deserts, forests, animism, abstraction, ambient and language, Atkinson has quietly been building a reputation for herself as a musician, artist, label head, and academic (musicology), among other things, and is now one of the most intriguing names in underground music.
Opening the night is Denmark-based New Yorker Soho Rezanehad, another versatile artist whose music intersects with language. Her works encompass episodic narrative, theatrical episodic plays, hymn-like compositions drawing from an array of genres.
