Fetungen – Banditsagor

It all started with Pål. And the food. Everything revolved around food.

Site-specific, location tba ● 90 min ● SWE

At first it was just Pål. Then Fanny came along, and suddenly they had a house together. Food had been there all along. For Pål, it had always been about searching for the most extreme flavors, the most advanced methods, and the still undiscovered cuisines. That’s how he and Fanny met, by the way, at a cooking class.

Then Manda entered, and everything changed. And yet it didn’t. Fanny and Pål were forced to try to navigate the difficult, almost impossible, task of taking care of a child while not forgetting each other. In the end, it just couldn’t go on.

Fetungen is a performance about gluttony, relationships, expectations, and despair. It tells the story of how hard it can be to set boundaries for the one you love more than anything in the world — about the relentless passing of time and our insatiable need for closeness, pleasure, and someone who cares.

Banditsagor is an independent theatre company based in Malmö, creating performances for children, young people, and adults, rooted in collective storytelling.
