House music at it's finest.

For our second event at Inkonst we have brought you a line-up of strictly positive vibes to resist the darker days that are coming. Straight up house music at its finest, with strokes of funky, jazzy, disco sounds. They are all coming up strong, making a name for themselves internationally and we are happy to bring them to Malmö to play together and with you. 

Hugo LX (MCDE Recordings) 

The Parisian wonderchild Hugo LX has accomplished more in music than most people can say at his age. Having released music in a variety of styles for about a decade, he is now the latest artist to release on the much celebrated french label of Motor City Drum Ensamble (MCDE Recordings) with the class EP ‘Desiderata’. Already from the age of 17, under the alias Jackson Jazz he collaborated with and produced hip-hop beats for MC’s like Diamond D, Large Professor and Sadat X. Now making his way as a house music producer and DJ with a steady flow of record releases and gigs at top clubs around the world, having shared the turntables with legends and pioneers such as Kerri Chandler, Dj Spinna and Sweden’s own Mad Mats.

DJ Clea (Hot Haus Recs/Study Records) 

“The queen of good vibes” – DJ Clea is one of the rising stars on the Swedish house scene, moving flawlessly between dark clubs and sunny festivals. Without a doubt someone you will become more familiar with in the coming years. Clea developed a passion to DJ too young to even being allowed to enter the clubs, she has now carved out a niche for herself that has led to residency at Under Bron in her hometown Stockholm and association with Red Bull Music Academy and Brownswood Recordings. Soon coming out with a record with our friends at Study Records

Prins Emanuel (Fasaan)

For this occasion we felt no one would set up the vibe better than Inkonst’s own Prins Emanuel. By now, he’s no stranger to most of Malmö’s late night dancers, having played and organized plenty of local parties. Part of running the labels ‘Fasaan’ and ‘Fri Form’ that is releasing music described as “listening music for dancers and dance music for listeners”. As Emanuel is exploring electronic music in various directions and moods, for this night he will provide a house set to lead the way.
