Most years we kick off Intonal with a free Ambient Assembly—a taste of what’s to come. This year we’re also doing a freebie, but in-house. ‘The First Hit’s Free, Bab-ee’ is our entry point, where the festival’s pulse starts beating. For the inquisitive but perhaps not yet daring enough to dive headfirst. Or for those already kneedeep who can’t get enough.

Program:
INTONAL 10 year publication. Release and celebration of a very limited DIY zine art-efact put together by Stacey De Voe.
The zine will be free for the first 30 to claim one, then to buy at 150:-.

Matilda Tjäder (DJ)
Malmö-based artist and composer Matilda Tjäder blends sound, performance, and visual arts to create dreamlike, cinematic sonic worlds. Founder of the itinerant live series Scaling and resident at Retreat Radio, her DJ set will experiment with storytelling and texture.

Melodies in My Head Present: Joy Anger Doubt
The duo of Thomas Burkhalter and Daniel Jakob dives into the emotional landscapes of contemporary artists, weaving music, film, and spoken word into a layered exploration of artistic resilience and expression.

A collaborative performance this year featuring Johanna Knutsson, Zuli, Elin Piel, and Anders Skibsted, alongside the Elektron team. Expect a dynamic blend of modular synths, rhythmic improvisations, and experimental electronic soundscapes.
