Jazz i Malmö: Susanna and the Brotherhood of Our Lady (NO)

Poetic and experimental. A manic chant for guiding in love and life with acclaimed jazz singer Susanna.

Susanna (NO) has gathered a new band/a new team of musicians, called The Brotherhood of Our Lady, prominent musicians from the young, dynamic and genre-free Norwegian music scene.

Susanna is back with a new album ‘Garden of Earthly Delights’. Light and darkness, sky and hell, people´s folly colourful reflected. Susanna´s music has been inspired by the Dutch painter Hieronymos Bosch. ”Garden of Earthly Delights”, Susanna´s 13th album, is originally a commissioning work for Vossajazz 2017. Poetic, electronic music with both piano riff, accordion and guitar. The first singel, about the track ”City of Hope´, Susanna said: “‘City of Hope’ is a manic chant for guiding in love and life, with hints of ecstasy in the horizon even though something’s lurking in the undertow”,
