A new colorful club concept featuring world and psychedelic music, a barefoot dancefloor and an assortment of fresh fruits. Focusing on the unity that psychedelic gatherings all over the world represents, I welcome you into a space dedicated to the millennia old pastime we humans just can’t seem to get enough of; dancing. The music will range from Electronic World Music to more playful psychedelic genres like Psy-Tech and Trance. Consider it a leisurely break from the usual Techno events dominating Malmö’s dance scene.
The DJs are in no need of an introduction, but what the hell; Radio Marrakech is one of nightlife Malmö’s most active players for a good reason. Beyond Malmö he’s frequently touring legendary venues such as Culture Box in CPH as well as Renate in Berlin. Katz-K has been a pillar of the dance scene in Malmö for a long time – and her dedication to dance culture has not slowed down. Last summer she performed at Fusion Festival (her sweet set linked further down) as well as blessing dancefloors in CPH on a recurring basis.
For this night Radio Marrakesh will honor us with groovy tribal rhythms and world electronica, followed by upping the pace with Katz-K’s signature dark groovy deep-techy fusion.
Come as you are, don’t be afraid to dress up.
