What are the opportunities in a more equal culture in music business?

Unless the number of women owning and running distribution companies, labels, stores, recording studios, agencies, management companies and promotion firms increases, the music industry will stay unbalanced. Makten Över Musiken are kicking off with a public discussion on possibilities for new enterprise in the region. Everyone is welcome!

This time around we are assisted by professional business economist Lisa Lundgren. She has offered a workshop under the same matter earlier the same afternoon. In her perspective there are plenty of doors that could be knocked down – easily! She is accompanied by Petter Wickman, head of Musikcentrum Syd. A relatively young organization representing the interests of independent musicians in Skåne. Petter is particularly interested in how structures are built in regards to music within the public sector. Moderating the discussion is Anna Tenfält, one of Malmös most reliable sources of within the field of management.
