Maqam Concert Series by Shako Mako and Inkonst: Grammy winner from Pakistan

With her debut album ‘Vulture Prince’ pakistanian grammy winner Arooj Aftab created one of the best albums of 2021. With inspiration from jazz, arabic poetry, classic catustani and folk she has built a hypnotic and touching document covering the mourning of her younger brother, who tragically passed away recently.

This summer Arooj Aftab performed a magical show at Way Out West and now we once again have the honour of welcoming her to swedish grounds for two more concerts. This might be the most touching concert this autumn has to offer. 8th November at Inkonst, Malmö. Get tickets now!
