CANCELLED! Rae Spoon + Junk River

Musician and songwriter Rae Spoon from Canada visits Malmö! Since 12 years back, Rae has played their music with influence from folk and country, over indie rock, to electronic. They have a bunch of awards on their record, and was the subject and composer of the score for the musical-documentary My Prairie Home from 2014. They have been touring through both Canada and internationally, and finally they will come to Malmö!

Rae’s music is about both personal experiences, like growing up as a queer in a religious home, abut also about life, the future, how to create a inner space for both hope and despair. Rae’s multi-instrumental skills will give the listener both sad country ballads, electronic dance beats, and everything in between.
