ADEY “Chromatics” – PERFORMING ARTS

Nude bodies, photography and music by SØS Gunver Ryberg.

An intense journey into physical exhaustion and human contact. You are the one watching, but also the one being watched.

Chromatics is a dance piece looking at the moving body from a photographic point of view.
Two performers on stage, completely vulnerable to the audience, surrounded by dia projectors challenges ideas of nudity. The audience is invited to experience the naked body from alternative perspectives, that highlights the complexity and reality of human anatomy.

AdeY is a Malmö based choreographer and photographer. With a background in performance, choreography and contemporary dance, his photographic works study subjects such as the human body’s balance, strength and physics. He is interested in the stories that bring a particular dancer to where they are in time and space and to challenge the social norm in ways that provokes audiences to both confirm and question their own beliefs.
