Wednesday 9 September

19:00 - 22:00

on stage: 20:00

Age: 18

Jazz Sabbath is the jazz trio that draws inspiration from Black Sabbath's music – and turns the entire history of rock upside down. With brilliant piano jazz and improvisational power, they interpret metal classics like "Iron Man," "War Pigs," and "Paranoid" as if they had always belonged to the world of jazz. The result is intense, elegant – and totally unpredictable. Don't miss when the trio comes to Malmö for a concert at Inkonst!

Legend has it that the group was founded as early as 1968 by the mysterious frontman Milton Keanes, who is the real original creator of the songs later made famous by Black Sabbath. Others claim that it is Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne's pianist Adam Wakeman who formed the trio to explore the boundaries between jazz and the songs that defined heavy metal, by echoing existing jazz riffs and discovering new ones. Whether you believe in their wild backstory or not, with three albums high on the Billboard Jazz Charts, sold-out shows worldwide, and glowing reviews in both jazz and rock media, Jazz Sabbath is quickly on its way (back) to the top of the jazz scene.

We look forward to an evening filled with jazz, dark riffs, and musical finesse that both honors and challenges rock's greatest legends!

On stage:
Adam Wakeman – Piano
Arthur Newell – Drums
Jack Tustin – Bass
