SOULlinedance is based on simple, repetitive steps – rhythmic, soulful movements performed in a choreographed sequence to R&B, hip-hop or classic soul music.
Unlike country line dance, SOULlinedance has a softer, more expressive style that captures the feeling and groove of the music. It’s a dance form popular at social gatherings, parties and dance clubs – offering a fun, energizing way to connect with music and with other people.
SOULlinedance releases endorphins and gives great exercise, while also boosting coordination, balance and sense of rhythm.
It’s accessible to everyone – no matter where you’re from, how old you are, how much you earn or whether you know the steps. There’s no right or wrong, just endless variations. Miss a step? No problem – the sequence starts over and you get another chance at the next “wall.”
You don’t need a partner. You dance individually, but in sync with others – in your own way, whenever you feel like it. Just step onto the floor and let the collective energy carry you.
It’s a social outlet, a stress reliever – and most of all: really fun.
