Swedish hip-hop and rap have been shaped by voices that broke the norm and built something of their own, without the involvement of the music industry. Its expressions, attributes, music, and art have influenced the Swedish language and music scene since the 1980s.
Here we meet creators and word artists who paint the language with feeling, using rhythm as their brush.

The seminar is part of the seminar series Språkets musikaliska rymd, a collaboration between the Royal Swedish Academy of Music and the Swedish Academy.
