Two sets of new music are combined with the stories behind the songs, practical songwriting strategies, and a Q&A - all with the aim of inspiring the audience.

The lineup includes a mix of established acts and promising musicians playing stripped-down versions of their songs in solo or duo format.

STELLA EXPLORER

Stella Explorer's musical landscape is a blend of ambient pop and dark rhythms that together form a loosely connected terrain with a clear common thread. It's a musical range she's explored over the years, largely while a member of the experimental pop band Brödet. Over time, different fragments of her have emerged — not least from her South African heritage. Her grandfather was a jazz musician who came to Sweden in the 1950s. Several of her influences stem from a musical household, which she says has resulted in her searching for melodies in everything.

Using broken and borrowed instruments, she blends familiar sounds and places them in different worlds. She merges others' stories with her own, often rooted in love's darker forces and sudden turns. Her voice bends from dark depths to sparkling heights, circling in as easily as it chases down. By letting all her influences take up space, she creates her own world where fragments of pop, ambient, and house mix freely.

With her two EP releases "Dorkay House" and "Lost Kingdom," Stella Explorer has created her own entirely unique musical universe — earning both a Grammis and a P3 Guld nomination in the process.

VIT PÄLS

This evening, Carl Johan Lundgren joins for a stripped-down solo performance ahead of the eagerly awaited new album 'Riddare och trumpeter' which will be released in November 2026. Expect a performance centered around the audience, framed by Lundgren's distinctive jokes and interaction with the listeners.

In the early 2010s, Vit Päls was a natural part of the Swedish indie scene. The band split in 2014, but interest in their music never waned — rather, it reached cult status thanks to the narrative lyrics and distinctive style.

Lundgren describes the new album as more direct, more uplifting, and at the same time the most melancholic Vit Päls album to date. Fans of Lundgren's world can also check out his novel debut from 2026, "Mitt eget bull Hawaii," which critic Samuel Levander praised in DN for its distinctive style.

I'M KINGFISHER

Indie/folk artist with a love for ambient and drone. With over 700 performances in 20 countries and 9 solo albums, Thomas Jonsson has always been as obscure as he is acclaimed. He won a Manifest award in 2021 for the quiet indie/country album The Past Has Begun, and made the song The Pain of Happiness for the film Comedy Queen 2022. This year he released the new album Give Up Together and made a cameo and contributed songs to the new film Biodlaren / The Quiet Beekeeper. In addition, he is soon the subject of the short and very stripped-down music documentary Words Have Missed Me.

QUIET COMMOTION

Quiet Commotion is a bedroom and solo project from Malmö led by 18-year-old Daniel Katz, who already has four albums under his belt. The latest, "Spring," was released this year on the Stockholm label Dream On.

BETTY BASS

Betty Bass is a Danish R&B and pop artist and songwriter creating a vibrant and deeply personal universe where vulnerability, confidence and big emotions coexist. Drawing inspiration from the warmth and attitude of ’90s R&B and soul, her songwriting explores love, heartbreak, self-worth and the complexities of relationships, always rooted in her own lived experiences.

Since her debut in 2019, Betty has released two albums, GROWN (2021) and DREAMGIRL (2024), alongside a string of singles. She has performed at Roskilde Festival, Smukfest, Heartland and SPOT Festival, as well as headlining Lille VEGA.

In October 2026, Betty releases her third album, Love Me / Leave Me Alone. The album continues her exploration of love and human connection while marking the next chapter in her development as a songwriter - embracing the messy, contradictory and wholehearted experiences that come with loving and being loved.
