Farvash

Farvash (b. Tehran, Iran, 1982) creates work that blends technology, trauma, and mythology in a quest for deeper metaphysical states. Drawing from material research, they develop innovative, sustainable systems with spiritual intent. As a first-generation immigrant, their art explores identity, belonging, and personal trauma through the mediums of performance, installation, and sculpture.

Their work creates spiritual ecosystems and metaphysical landscapes, providing a platform for marginalized voices. Farvash’s art continues to foster transformation and amplify voices often silenced.

Farvash is based in Sweden. They have a background in chemistry and holds two MA´s, Contemporary art (critical practice) from Royal College of art 2020, MFA Experience Design, Konstfack 2010.
