Gina040 moves boldly between the meeting point of experimental, goth and pop, with her newest gift to the audience; a presentation of her experience navigating love, or the idea of it, and the monsters she gave her heart to between the years 2024-2025, all with that signature sense of humor between songs that makes her stand out from the static.

Her debut EP “Tears For Goliath” 2021 got rave reviews praising the DIY-feel and minimal sound, and this time around Gina has polished the productions and elevated the lyricism, oscillating somewhere between LCD Soundsystem and Ethel Cain, all from her cellar studio in Möllan she shares with her artist collective FNGRLCKN est.2017.

While Gina040 feeds on the inherent pain of feeling, she doesn't shy away from disarming the audience with catchy melodies and laughter. Even though the music details the violence of intimacy from several toxic lovers and abusive ex, with straightforward thematics of self-harm and sex, the comedy makes the audience wonder if she’s really healed from the pain she sings about, or if she’s just laughing as a way to unhinge her jaw for another bite of the ouroboros that is dating in our contemporary age.

Gina040 is a musician, producer, singer, and founding member of the music collective FNGRLCKN, with a predisposition towards terrorizing basses, acidic synths and drilling kicks in the styles of Footwork, Jit, Tech, Jersey Club, Electro, Gabber and beyond. She holds a residency at Retreat Radio with her show, The Footfetisch Show (2021), and have elevated dance floors around Europe, with a steady base in Malmö, since 2016.
