No anniversary is complete without a concert. Therefore, we have invited Tren Né to crank up the intensity.
Tren Né is a fast and bass-driven trio that works according to the simple yet effective motto "intensity builds immensity". With drums, synths, and drum machines, they create hard, ritual-based music where rhythm is central – repetitive, physical, and uncompromising. It is music that gathers strength through repetition, where electronic and acoustic percussion are compressed into something that moves between club, concert, and collective release.
In 2024, they released their second album FOREVER CHANGED FOREVER STRONG on the Malmö label civic sounds. The album was awarded Dance of the Year at the Manifest Gala 2025, with a jury particularly highlighting the group's ability to combine raw and processed sounds into rhythms that resonate throughout the body.
It's 800+ nights we've spent with you. More DJs than IKEA has Allen keys (aka insect keys). More organizers have come, stayed, and disappeared than we even dare to list.
No names mentioned, none forgotten.
For this evening, we reached out to a dozen organizers who have left strong impressions over the years – both with us and on the scene at large. Some are in completely different places in life today and weren't quite ready to take on the role they last had two children ago. Others had already booked the date because they are still toiling away as DJs and organizers. Respect.
But a handful of gems said yes, with bated breath.
So with great pride and even greater joy, we welcome back:
All Out Dubstep
The only organizer who – as far as we know – managed to cause an orgasm on the dance floor through bass.
Catharsis
Josefine has kept the techno flag flying high year after year – and continues to do so. Endurance, conviction, and many hours in dark rooms.
Deng Deng HiFi
Are probably upset they didn't get the comment All Out Dubstep got. Sorry. We know your bass has about the same pH value as caustic soda.
Feeler Rec.
Local suppliers of all things bass music related, now also turned brilliant label. One of the younger players in the scene, but we can't have a whole night with just oldtimers can we.
Indie Indie Superklubb / Libra
The man, the myth, the legend: Kalevi. These are just two of the approximately 200 club concepts he has created over the years. That he would have a place on this evening was about as obvious as the night ending later than planned.
Ritual
The scandalous collective that under a common anonymous flag rearranged intestines with industrial techno for several years. Allegedly also a gateway to heavier techno for parts of the techno collective generation that keeps Malmö awake today.
Skatebård
DJ Skatebård is flying in! Norwegian space disco, cosmic house, and perpetual midnight sun. Skatebård has kept dancefloors floating for decades and, by now, has played here more times than any reasonable person could be expected to remember.

You can't have a club without Behrang. That's an old fact.
20 years is quite a long time to stand in a dark room together.
We thought we'd celebrate this by doing it once more.
Already in 2003, the city council decided to let the cultural association Inkonst, (then a small membership association with four employees and a strained economy) move into what was politically called the "cultural house Chokladfabriken".
There had long been discussions about what would happen with the old Mazetti building, which the city had already purchased in 1992 after chocolate production ceased. Skånes Dansteater and Teater Terrier were possible candidates to move in, but in the end, the lot fell on Inkonst. The city wanted an association from the independent cultural scene in Malmö, and Inkonst had in a few years grown into an important cultural and entertainment venue primarily for a young audience, from the beginning with the purpose of presenting a program outside the commercial. The then barrack-like premises in Möllevångsgården, Folkets Park, were also in great need of renovation, and the 550 sqm also meant great limitations on audience numbers. Once the decision was made, it would take until February 2006 for the move to actually be finished.

Since then, 20 years have passed, and many of us have had our first encounter with innovative concerts, experimental performing arts, sweaty dance floors, and cultural experiences beyond the ordinary on our stages. World artists have played at Inkonst before they broke through, the performing arts have received nationwide attention more than once. The Intonal festival was born and grows bigger every year.
Here we have met, laughed, fallen in love, danced, been provoked, debated, listened, and lost ourselves in the most beautiful things that life has to offer, the meeting, the art, and the culture. Now we invite you all to come and celebrate with us, 20 years on Bergsgatan and hopefully at least as many more!

Dance (Sweden) – Group Version consists of a dialogue between Frédéric Gies’ prolific body of work, which they created since they moved to Sweden 12 years ago, and Maison de Fous (Dråhuset), the 1920 dance piece by Les Ballets Suédois. Through this dialogue, Dance (Sweden) – Group Version explores the subversive power and the revolutionary dimension of the figure of the Fou. With uncompromising irreverence and humor, the piece does away with the fetishization of national origins and embarks us on a joyful parade, a protest in which fools, witches, coquettes, and showgirls summon up their forces and courage in the face of oppression and in times of looming fascism. The original techno soundtrack has been created by Fiedel.
This new ensemble work is based on a solo version of the project, which hasn’t been presented in Malmö yet. It also connects to the exhibition Frédéric Gies and Maison de Fous, which will take place at Moderna Museet Malmö (5.12 2026 to 11.4 2027).
Frédéric Gies is a choreographer and the artistic director of Dance is ancient, a platform for dance in Malmö. Their work is showcased internationally in various contexts (dance venues, music festivals, museums). Approaching forms as possibilities rather than constraints, their pieces put to the forefront the capacity of dance to speak independently from language.
