55 Cancri e

Sara Hausenkamp is a multidisciplinary artist (b. 1989 in Malmö, Sweden) focusing primarily on music but also expresses herself through collages, video, textile, comic art, poetry and graphic art.

Her solo project 55 Cancri e has been the home planet for Hausenkamp’s musical and visual ideas for over a decade. With a passion for improvisation she builds up powerful and emotional sound images with layers of guitars and voices.

55 Cancri e has released several albums and ep:s throughout the years on labels like Music For Dreams, Zeon Light, Midira Records, SKÖRD, Mima Kassett and Civic Sounds. Playing live shows in Sweden, Denmark and Germany, she has been warming up for artists such as Fennesz, Drew McDowall, Dolce, Slowgold, Jessica Moss, Marisa Anderson and Circuit des Yeux etc.
